Into the Mountains by Charlotte Marjoribanks - PDF

This lightweight summer shawl is inspired by the incredible colours and landscape of Tongariro National Park in New Zealand. Mountain peaks form a dramatic backdrop against hard blue skies, and flurries of snow drift about, settling on the stiff alpine grass and on delicate flowers that stretch out into the horizon.

This pattern requires 2 skeins of 400yd sock weight yarn, size 5 needles, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.  Stitch markers and yarn for lifelines is optional.
